Keratresse was created around a simple idea: you shouldn't have to be standing in a salon to give your hair professional-quality care.
We develop shampoos, conditioners, treatments and styling products that bring salon-minded formulation into everyday routines. Products that are straightforward to use, thoughtfully formulated and designed around what different types of hair actually need.
Made for real life means made for the routine you already have. Not a twelve-step regimen, not a shelf of bottles you use once and abandon, and not a product that only performs when someone else is holding the dryer. Real life is five minutes in the shower on a weekday morning, and professional hair care should work there too.

Hair can be fine or thick, straight or curly, natural or color-treated. It can need moisture, volume, control, toning or simply a dependable daily routine that keeps it looking and feeling its best.
The same shampoo cannot reasonably serve a fine, oily scalp and a coarse, coil-textured head of hair that has been coloured twice this year. One needs cleansing that does not weigh hair down; the other needs moisture that survives being rinsed out.

We believe an ingredient belongs in a formula because it contributes something, not because it happens to look good on the front of a bottle.
Across the Keratresse range you'll find formulas incorporating proteins, conditioning agents, botanical ingredients, oils and other materials selected according to the needs of the individual product.
We also believe customers deserve to know what they're using. A full ingredient declaration is a legal requirement, but a list of chemical names on the back of a bottle is not the same thing as understanding what is in your hand.
That's why we're working to make ingredient information easier to understand throughout the Keratresse website, with clear explanations of what key ingredients do alongside the complete declaration for each product. If you have a sensitivity, or you simply want to know why something is in a formula, that information should be easy to find before you buy rather than after.
